Arjun, a boy from a lower-class family, is battling poverty , education and exploitation . His father spends most of the money in drinking alcohol. Arjun has an old bag which is torn. At the end of the story, Arjun gets the university topper award, a girl becomes his friend who fixes his bag, his father buys him a new bag and he promises to stop drinking. Shortly after, his father gets a silent heart attack and dies.
