SYNOPSIS:
India indeed has been an age-long culturally rich nation full of respect and worship for the female deities of yesteryears in the form of Goddesses that are still revered to time.
But what if the said Goddesses were existing in our current day society in a human form
i.e. introducing you to our film’s characters -
- Parvathi - {named after Goddess of devotion & love towards her spouse}
- Laxmi - {named after Goddess of prosperity, fortune & wealth}
- Durga – {named after Goddess of courage, strength & liberation}
- Shashti – {named after Goddess of infant welfare & reproduction}
- Saraswathi – {named after Goddess of wisdom, knowledge & learning}
Each character with the original Goddess’s unique trait reflecting in their own quintessential personal stories, all beautifully weaved together into this screenplay that intersects one artist’s life onto the next, while we move from Parvathi to Saraswathi, covering all 5 women wrath with their own different struggles but from the exact same source i.e. the echo of societal judgement!
Has modern-day society become very judgmental on a woman’s life and her personal choices?
Has the modern-day woman yet to open her eyes to realize the following: -
“There’s only 2 ways for a woman to be perfect i.e. what & how SHE wants to be!”
The film climaxes into how all 5 women redeem themselves against the echoes of societal judgement by sticking to their guns.
Because the film is all about embracing the Goddess within & ‘Be YOU tiful’!
