The 5 part documentary film mainly delivers the real original feel of the indigenous community, Once a nomadic community in the forests, the Kaani's now live a settled life in the southern most regions of the Western Ghats. They lead a sustainable life using locally available forest resources and cultivating crops. This documentary focuses on their festivals and rituals, traditions & social practices, food & medicinal practices, occupation and education, love for nature. Kaanis have a symbiotic relationship with the forest and their entire social and cultural life revolves around it.
